| The Simpson-Barton Foundation's Finishing School for Girls.
Founded by Miss Simpson and Mr Giles Barton, this exclusive finishing school is occupied mainly by wealthy British or American girls. Mr Barton died of a heart attack in 1830 and Mrs Simpson was sent to a mental institute in 1831, but their heirs Charles Simpson (Miss Simpson's nephew) and Cassandra Barton (Mr Barton's younger sister) run it now.

The home of Lady Geisinger who has recently moved from another state. The Chateau lies outside the Karnstein are by ten miles but the lady is occasionally seen in Karnstein. There are rumours however that she is not what she seems and is a witch of the evilest description.
